The Mountain Lakes Club Run/Walk is a family-friendly event that unites people across the neighborhood, behind the mission of remembering sharing and preserving Mountain Lakes Club History.

Bring friends and family out to support your community. Plenty of activities will be available for folks who are not running.



Advertising Opportunity
All racers will receive a custom booklet detailing MLC History.

Advertising squares can be used for local small businesses,  ”In Memory of” messages, Teenagers/young adults to advertise their service offering — Dog walking/sitting, house sitting, babysitting, yard work, etc.

Advertising Squares are just $20
Due by September 1.

The Schedule

Registration:  10 a.m.
Race Start:  11 a.m.
Music, Food and Fun:  11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.


Food available:
$5.00 for burger or hot dog, a bag of chips and drink (water, soda, lemonade)

Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit and have a picnic, while watching live entertainment.

Participate Your Way

Register for the event in person between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

Suggested Donation:
$10 per adult & $5 per child.

Additional Information

The route through Skitapet conservation has hills and roots. The run is mostly tree covered. Safety first here at MLC! We will have volunteers monitoring water stations with first aid kit access at trail intersections for runner support.

Alternatively, For those just look for a nice stroll through the woods there will be a designated flat loop around the back side of the MLC field.

Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place best times will be awarded.

Disclosures:
This is not a formally timed event for race qualification.
Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed.
No alcohol allowed on the premises.
Outside food welcome if you’d like to bring your own picnic.
Parking is available at the Groton Fire Station 3 at 185 Lost Lake Drive, Groton, MA.
Supporters from the neighborhood are encouraged to walk.
